Our Company

Allen Technology Advising was founded by Ben Allen in 1998. For over a decade, we have set ourselves apart from the IT outsourcing competition through our people and our service. Our mission is not only to keep your information technology working all the time, but to do so with ethics, honesty, value, and good humor.

We believe that if we give our customers a great IT support experience, then our business will grow as it helps yours to grow. So rather than focus on extracting your dollars, we focus on earning your trust. Everything else, we find, takes care of itself.

Our Mission

Allen Technology Advising is a managed services provider, whose goal it is to establish long term relationships with customers and to help businesses thrive by providing a stable, scalable technology infrastructure. We work to bring your computing environment to a level of high reliability and low maintenance, and then we serve as your strategic consultant and support desk specialist. We fix computer and network problems, but we prefer to avoid them in the first place by implementing the devices, systems, and tools which allow us to proactively maintain and remotely manage your technology. In this way, the inevitable bumps in the road can be quickly resolved or avoided altogether - without costly interruptions to your workday.

Our Team

Ben Allen - President and Owner
Ben came from the ranks of Price Waterhouse where he worked on technology process re-engineering. He left that company in 1998 in order to start his own technology consulting firm, Allen Technology Advising, and he has been growing the business ever since. Ben is a dedicated father of four, and husband of a world-ranked Triathlete. He is community minded, spending much of his limited spare time in volunteer activities of all variety.

Chris Baumgartner - Business Manager
Chris is a 14 year information technology professional and has worked as a IT Director and Manager for some of Denver's largest employers. His passion is to coach organizations toward success and growth through fundamental shifts in process and operations. He has worked for Allen Technology Advising for four years.

Patrick O'Fallon - Lead Engineer and Partial Owner
Patrick was working for Allen Technology Advising even before he earned his Computer Science degree from Regis University in 2002, and has been with the company almost from the very beginning. Few engineers can boast the range of skills which seem to come so naturally to Patrick; he is equally at ease with clients and technology and is one of our company's most prized assets.
